Project Overview

Custom Canopies is a leading manufacturer of shade canopies, sails and umbrellas, located just outside of Los Angeles, California. They are a 20-year-old company serving commercial clients nationwide.

Company owner Steve knew his company’s growth and industry position was not reflected in his company’s visual identity, key messaging materials and web presence. He wanted to give his marketing communications an update that would impart his company’s professionalism  and experience to new clients while preserving some of the original elements of his company’s branding.

That’s where we came in. As a team, we took on the task of helping Steve expand his brand, maximize his sales strategy and connect with new customers while remaining faithful to longstanding clients.

Branding Refresh

We started the rebranding process by implementing Custom Canopies’ commitment to innovation and established expertise in the shade structure industry through all aspects of their logo and marketing materials. With their logo, we updated it and gave it an overall more modern appeal. For the collateral pieces, we kept the design visually-oriented to emphasize their ability to create custom products with ease.

Website Design & Development

One of the major struggles Custom Canopies encountered with their previous website was conveying their expertise and cutting-edge product applications to prospect customers. To solve this issue, we created a responsive website that is rich in visuals and straightforward copy. Combined with an extremely easy navigation, the visuals assist in showcasing their diverse products and applications, while providing the needed information and specifications. The result is an easily navigable website that serves as a valuable resource to both current and prospective customers.

Content Marketing & Brand Management

To help Custom Canopies maximize their marketing efforts, we took on the role of helping them manage their content and brand. We assist them with online management and marketing communication pieces for upcoming tradeshows and sales efforts.
