Inspired by her friends’ car-buying horror stories, SheCar’s founder Athena Staton set out to make the process of finding and buying a car transparent, straightforward, easy and fun.
The SheCar system allows you to bid on and buy auction vehicles in exactly the same way that auto dealerships do—so you save $1000s off retail prices.
SheCar came to us as a business start-up in need of a branding refresh and a new website. We were inspired by Athena’s determination to demystify the car-buying process, backed up by her years of experience in the automotive industry.
We began by designing a new logo. Elegant, clean lines and contemporary colors combine to create a sophisticated steering wheel design—embodying not only how customers can steer their own search for their dream car, but also how the first thing they’ll want to do when they receive their SheCar is grab the steering wheel and take it for a drive.
We chose modern typography to complement the logo, hand-customizing the lettering to evoke a feeling of forward motion. We carried this new branding through a range of collateral pieces, including business cards, banners and license plate frames.
To help SheCar fully utilize their new branding, we distilled their core message into a compelling brand story that can be used throughout their communications. We also created a brand style guide to help the team use their new branding consistently and effectively across all marketing materials.
SheCar’s new fully responsive website is clean, contemporary and sophisticated. Inspired by the transparency of their car-buying process, we created a design that showcases the most important information that customers need to know. Visitors can learn how the process works, explore SheCar’s community initiatives, gain knowledge from the blog, and book a demo with ease.Visit the website
