The scope
Since 1987, the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida provides crucial services to transform the lives of homeless men, women, and children that end their crisis of homelessness. Through its residential programs, the nonprofit serves over 500 people each day, plus over 100 unsheltered individuals through its community initiatives.
As an effort to raise funds to support 500 people who call the Coalition their temporary home, the nonprofit holded its 30th annual Hearts of Gold event at the Orlando Magic’s private airline hangar.
The challenge
In support of the Coalition’s efforts to raise life-changing funds, our team was asked to create fun and appealing branding that would increase brand awareness, elevate the legitimacy of the event, and foster a fun environment for the over 600 attendees.
The approach
Branding
In honor of the inaugural Hearts of Gold event in 1993, this year’s theme was the 90s, with live musical performance by Joey Fatone & Friends, which heavily influenced our brand colors, fonts, and shapes. The brand refresh we completed for the event was inspired by the plastic letterings, bold typography, and colorful pop visuals of the 90s.

For several years now, they have provided in-kind marketing support for our largest fundraising event at Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida. As part of this event support, they provide everything from the branding to the execution of several materials: tickets, banners, posters, credential passes, social media materials, etc.
Not only are they timely and committed, but they come with tremendous talent and heart - and we couldn't be more greateful for their work.
