The project

Lance Merritt — founder, experienced general contractor and construction manager — came to us in search of a website redesign. He understood that, in today’s technology-driven world, online presence is very important for any business.
As the owner of a leading Central Florida contracting company, the team at Merritt are very busy. Their clients include the  University of Central Florida and Tijuana Flats. Lance came to us looking for a new website with a content management system built in, which would allow him to add new content and update existing content quickly and easily.

How we helped

To establish them as a leading Florida general contracting company, we designed and built a fully responsive website that showcases Merritt’s recent projects and testimonials. We chose a bold color palette of blue and warm yellow, complemented by strong, sans serif typography that matches the existing Merritt branding.
Keeping things simple, we created concise copy to highlight their capabilities and emphasize their extensive expertise in the construction industry. We added clear calls to action, encouraging website visitors to get in touch to start their next project.

Lance and his team wanted their new website to prominently feature their recently completed projects. With this in mind, we designed a Projects page with a simple, filterable image gallery that would perfectly showcase the quality of Merritt’s construction standards.
